教学目标

1. Master this lesson appeared description school life of nouns and verbs.

2. To understand the class key words and sentences.

3. Use the knowledge learned, describe your school life.

教学重难点

1. .Read the letter, understand Millie’s school life.

2. Use the knowledge learned, describe your school life.

教学过程

Step1.lead-in

1. Talk about the sports meeting last week.

2. Make a dialogue. talk about sports meeting with your partners.

[设计意图:以运动会情境导入,通过回顾场景新授单词与词组,并通过对话强化新知。]

Step2.fast reading

1. Play QQ message sounds,let students guess what is that?

2. Lead the dialog box in.

3. Fast reading: Ask students to skim the email to check if they have made the right prediction previously.Then ask them to find out the main idea of each part.

4. Do T or F.

[设计意图:训练学生快速阅读的能力并提升他们对阅读的信心。]

Step3.Careful reading

1. Read Para.1- 3 together and answer questions.

(1) What school does Millie study at?

(2) When does Millie’s school start?

2. Read Para.4 - 5 by yourselves and fill in the table.

 

3. Task reading--fill in the blanks about Millies school life.(Prep + doing sth)

(1) After+doing

(2)  Enjoy +doing sth.

(3) Practise +doing sth.

[设计意图:通过细读训练学生在浏览中快速找到具体信息的能力。]

Step4. retell Millies school life

[设计意图:鼓励学生利用PPT上的关键信息用第三人称将文章复述出来,增强他们口语能力和自信。]

Step5. Group work: Talk about your school life

Discuss your school life with your group mates and use the key information to say something about your school life.

[设计意图:鼓励学生积极参与讨论,将课本知识付诸实践,提高学生的课堂参与度,同时使学生感受到英语的实用性。]

Step6. homework

1. Finish exercise: Reading 1.                  

2. Recite phrases we have learnt in this lesson. Try to make sentences by yourselves.
